Educational/Certification Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma or GED required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related fields preferred
  • Professional experience of at least 2 years preferred
  • Technical support certifications from professional organizations are a plus

Specific Job Duties

  • Customer Service
  • Assist in maintaining the customer support process for systems deployed in the field
  • Serve as first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance
  • Troubleshoot technical issues through remote connection, email and phone
  • Primary focus in troubleshooting software issues
  • Document events, problems, procedures and resolutions
  • Serve as primary support specialist for specific customers
  • Continually build expertise in soft- and hardware related to k-space tools
  • Support field-service engineers in troubleshooting of deployed systems with potential to grow into field service engineering role if desired
  • Track all support issues and assisted in data-mining and statistics
  • Draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for various support topics
  • Internal Team Support
  • Support sales team in customer communication as related to technical service topics
  • Interact with cross-functional teams to keep customer service tickets on target
  • Assist engineering personnel in troubleshooting systems as needed
  • Safety
  • Follow applicable safety protocols
  • Provide feedback for safety team for improvements of workplace safety

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
