K&S Staffing Solutions, INC is seeking a dedicated and qualified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a Medical Assistant (MA) certification or have at least one year of experience working in a medical setting. As a Medical Assistant at our organization, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch patient care and support to our medical professionals.
- Patient Care: Provide compassionate and efficient patient care, including taking and recording vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints.
- Assist Medical Professionals: Support physicians and other healthcare providers in various clinical procedures, examinations, and treatments.
- Medical Records: Maintain accurate and organized patient medical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all healthcare regulations.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on prescribed medications, treatment plans, and post-procedure care.
- Equipment and Supplies: Ensure the availability and functionality of medical equipment and supplies within the clinic.
- Infection Control: Follow established infection control protocols and maintain a clean and hygienic clinical environment.
- Communication: Foster open communication with patients, healthcare providers, and support staff to ensure a smooth and coordinated patient experience.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide the best possible patient care and contribute to the overall success of the clinic.
- Medical Assistant (MA) certification preferred.
- Alternatively, a minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical facility.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and medical equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.
