Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Caregivers. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance and support to seniors and individuals in need of care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on someone's life.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including the use of mobility aids
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying up
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior
- Provide assistance with behavior management if needed
- Escort clients to appointments or social outings as required
Skills:
- Experience in senior care, nursing homes, or direct support is preferred
- Knowledge of caregiving techniques and best practices
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
