Server Assistant
The server assistants work as a team and cover the duties of assisting servers on the floor, food running, delivering room service orders and bar backing the inside lounge. S/he provides service that exhibits professionalism, attention to detail, and the desire to create a welcoming environment. S/he will also work directly with other team members to ensure that all guests’ visits exceed their expectations.
Server Assistant Detailed Job Summary
- Arrive to work on time and in proper personal grooming & uniform
Assisting Servers
- Stock areas with supplies IE: ice, glassware, bus bins, trash cans
- Assist with watering of new tables
- Assist with pre-bussing tables
- Assist with cleaning, sanitizing, resetting tables
- Maintain clean floors and clean dining room
Food Running
- Expedite and fun food to designated areas
- Assist guests with food related requests
- Maintain and stock supplies
Room Service
- Receive and prepare orders
- Deliver food & beverage to guests rooms
- Stock areas of supplies
Barback
- Stock bars with ice, fresh trach cans, bus bins
- Perform requisition of supplies
- Throughout shift, maintain bars, cocktail tables, service stations – clean_organized_stocked
- Perform routine cleaning of bars and storage areas
Physical Demands
The Server Assistant is expected to be able to perform the job functions with reasonable accommodation. Physical demands include:
- Must be able to remain standing for extended periods of time
- Bending, squatting, and lifting, up to 30 lbs., for short distances
- Frequent communication with Managers and Team Members. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
