Position Summary: We are looking for a meticulous Data Analyst to join our vibrant team. This role is integral to the data-driven evaluation of JumpStart’s various programs, where you will be actively involved in the collection, analysis, and reporting of performance metrics. This position offers the chance to work closely with both internal stakeholders and external partners, contributing directly to strategic decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Collection and Analysis: Lead the collection and evaluation of outcome metrics for our programs using advanced survey tools like Qualtrics. Ensure data accuracy and consistency through rigorous validation and quality control measures.
• Visualization and Reporting: Develop and enhance data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI, facilitating insightful decision-making and clear communication of program outcomes.
• Algorithm Optimization: Design and maintain a sophisticated matchmaking algorithm to optimize client-founder matches, assessing its performance and making data-driven improvements.
• Collaborative Projects: Work alongside diverse teams to refine data processes and contribute to special projects that support our investment and entrepreneurial services.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. A robust background in quantitative analysis or research is essential.
• Technical Skills: Strong command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with survey platforms like Qualtrics. Knowledge of Python/R, database systems, statistical analysis tools and visualization tools such as Power BI is required. Experience with CRM software is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, detail-oriented, and proficient in managing sensitive information. Strong communication skills and a tech-savvy mindset are crucial.
