Judson Senior Living in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking a Payroll Manager. Currently hiring for a Full Time position with our Judson Park retirement community located in historic Cleveland Heights.

What will I do in this role with Judson?

As a Payroll Manager, supporting the Judson mission will include the following responsibilities:

  • Complete bi-weekly payroll for all four Judson communities
  • Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits
  • Collaborate with Human Resources (HR) and accounting teams
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports
  • Resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions
  • Prepare reports for quarterly, yearly and weekly reports
  • Review and abide by company policies and procedures
  • Resolve payroll errors
  • Monitor promotions, transfers and terminations
  • Ensure timely payroll execution
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and payroll tax obligations
  • Coordinate timekeeping and payroll systems
  • Oversee processing of payroll changes (e.g. new hires, terminations, raises) and system upgrades
  • Other duties as assigned.

What do I need for this role with Judson?

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources or related field, OR an equivalent amount of relevant experience required.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in Payroll required.
  • Experience working with ADP Workforce Now preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with advanced skills in Excel required.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and time management skills with a strong background in successfully delivering exceptional customer service and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, time management skills to ensure completion of duties and be a forward looking thinker who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.
