As a Power Electronics Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in designing and developing power and control electrical equipment, hardware for electrical drive motor circuits, and components. Here are the qualifications and skills typically associated with this role:
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related fields is preferred. However, relevant experience in the field is also welcome.
- Electronic Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills are essential.
- Proficiency in Circuit Design and Electronics is crucial.
- Experience in testing power electronic systems is valuable.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex electronic circuits is necessary.
- A strong understanding of power electronics components and technologies is important.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with vehicle-level electrical systems design and development processes (at least 2 years of experience).
- Knowledge of grid operation is advantageous.
