Burns is currently seeking a Traction Power Engineerto join our Railroad & Transitteam in Philadelphia, Pa.
Summary:
In the exploration of advancing their career into a technical path the Traction Power Engineer directs and performs the technical activities on assigned projects and ensures that the technical staff understands and adheres to the discipline technical policies and procedures. Provides direction to and participates in the production of technical studies, investigations and designs in support of assigned projects. Makes independent decisions to develop solutions of moderate to high complexity and consults with Principals, Senior Engineers, and Chief Engineers when needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Informal task supervision of CAD Operators, Designers, Junior Associates, Associates and Engineers at the direction of the Project Manager.
Educations & Experience:
Professionally Licensed Engineer with a Bachelor's (B.S.) Engineering degree and at least 8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
