Judge Group is Hiring a Histotechnologist Near Reading, PA

Location: West Reading, PA
Salary: Competitive
Description: Judge Healthcare is currently seeking a Histotechnologist in West Reading, PA for one of our top clients, a large hospital system in Pennsylvania. 
This is a full time, direct hire opportunity offering competitive rates, benefits, and PTO!
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 5am-6am start time, no nights or weekends
This job will have the following responsibilities:
  • The Histotechnologist, under general supervision, is responsible for preparing microscopic slides for diagnostic purposes, performing diagnostic tests, maintaining laboratory equipment and records, providing instruction and is a resource to others. 
  • Candidates must possess a working knowledge and theory of histologic techniques Immunohistochemistry and Special Stain techniques and histology automation; must also have an excellent knowledge of the AP LIS system.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • 2 year/Associate Degree or combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of Associate's 
  •  At least one year of Histotechnologist experience
