Penn State Health St Joseph Medical center is Hiring a Histotechnologist Near Reading, PA

Location: US:PA:Reading

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

This position is responsible for performing technical duties in preparation of surgical, autopsy and cytology specimens for microscopic examination.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

Associates degree, or two (2) year Histology accredited program required.

At least two years on-the-job training or experience is required.

Experience with personal computers is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

Bachelors degree preferred.

Certified as HTL/HT (ASCP) or equivalent preferred or eligible for certification as HTL/HT (ASCP).

Pay: $28.89 - $43.33 per hour
