Job Description:

As a Human Resources Coordinator, incumbent will be responsible for managing various aspects of HR administration including payroll coordination, leave of absence administration, organizational management system updates, compensation updates, and additional duties as assigned. Incumbent will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Coordination:

  • Coordinate site payroll activities & responsibilities with our corporate payroll partner.
  • Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and management.
  • Drive resolution to any issues to resolution.

Leave of Absence Administration:

  • Administer various types of leave including FMLA, WA State PFML.
  • Guide employees through the application process through the State of Washington & the Company’s 3rd party administrator.
  • Keep supervisors/managers informed of approved leave dates and other relevant details.
  • Keep detailed records of employees’ leaves of absences and leave balances and system updates.

Organization Management System Updates:

  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS (PeopleSoft).
  • Coordinate the separation and exit process.
  • Work through organizational changes thoroughly and completely.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the systems (HR & Payroll).
  • Generate reports and analytics as needed by HR leadership.

Compensation Updates:

  • Assist in the administration of compensation changes.
  • Process salary adjustments, promotions, scheduled step increases accurately and in a timely manner.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR documentation and records.
  • Assist in audits and compliance reviews as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in HR administration, with a focus on payroll and leave management.
  • Strong aptitude for learning and navigating software/systems. ADP and PeopleSoft experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:

  • This position pays $26-$30per hour, depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises.
