Percent Time Spent Essential Functions 5%Conduct Pre/Post- Trip inspections in accordance with D.O.T. and Travel Plaza Transportation regulations. 45%Provide safe transportation for airport transfers, charter excursions, tours. Provide customer service, assist in loading and loading passengers from vehicles. Assist with loading and unloading customer baggage.45%Drive vehicle in accordance with State, Federal, and traffic regulations. Observe traffic signals, signs, other vehicles, and pedestrians on the streets, freeways, and highways, avoiding accidents.5%Record readings and information as required by procedures. Required to complete Accident Reports and check-in/out with Dispatch. Secondary/Other Duties:Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:High school graduate, and at least 21 years of age.Required to possess a valid Hawaii driver’s license with clear driver abstract.Required to possess a commercial driver’s license (CDL), B or C, with air brake and passenger endorsements. Must be able to drive any type of commercial vehicle requiring a CDL “B” and/or “C”.Possess at least one (1) year experience in customer service or hospitality-related experience, preferred.Able to frequently communicate with customers over a 2-way radio, cell phone, public address (PA) system and microphone in English and/or Japanese.Able to work independently and work cooperatively with others; able to work with employees, business partners, and customers in a professional and positive manner.Able to multi-task when vehicle in motion, while communicating with Dispatch over two-way radio. Working Conditions:Working HoursShift work variable between 5:00 a.m. and 12:00 a.m., 7 days/week. Overtime, weekend and holiday work required. Environmental Conditions:Subject to atmospheric conditions including: an air conditioned office, noise, exhaust fumes, dust, and adverse weather conditions.
