HVAC Assistant Superintendent (Multi-family Construction)

What are we looking for?
- Reliable and committed
- Demonstrates follow-through, communication and interpersonal skills
- Recognizes ordered parts that are missing from what was received.
- Able to identify parts: elbow, fan housing, dryer box, etc.
- Ability to read blueprints and a schedule
- Understand what the finished product should look like knows our visual standards.
- Understand where things go in a floor plan.
- Understands start to finish how a job works in order: layout, wet rough, dry rough, trim, etc.
- Must have solid communication skills: style, frequency, following up, and when to escalate up.
- Demonstrates knowledge of basic airflow; size of flex needed.
- Has basic awareness of fire-rated walls.
- Ability to learn about Safety, PPE, QC.
- Demonstrates a clean, organized storage area and work site on a consistent basis.
- Able to read a ruler to the 1/16"
- Has the right tools: gauges, vacuum, screwdriver, rough tools, crimper, snips, wire strippers.
- Valid driver's license
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
Qualifications
Experience:
- Blueprint reading: 1 year (Preferred)
- Materials handling: 1 year (Preferred)
- Multifamily construction: 1 year (Preferred)
- HVAC installation: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
