Job Summary: The Staff Assistant provides secretarial, clerical and general office support to the department andmanagement in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
Essential Job Functions & Accountabilities:
Establishes and maintains all departmental files, retrieves information as requested, and createsnew files as needed.
Answers the telephone and takes messages and/or inquiries regarding patient reports. Sorts anddistributes mail.
Types, prepares, finalizes, and distributes department meeting minutes, memoranda, letters andrelated forms and/or documents.
