As a Data Modernization Director in the Connected Commerce Technology Team, you will be responsible for driving an integrated data strategy across our products to enable completion of top business priorities, faster time to insights, and product uplift, all while protecting the integrity and usability of our data. You will be responsible for all data in the product, supporting business objectives, advanced analytics, operations, and reporting. In collaboration with the data and analytics team, you will ensure technology data delivery to support analytics outcomes, integrate it into analytics platforms, and manage data risks throughout its life cycle. 
Job Responsibilities

• Establish strategy to develop and deliver product data to support business objectives, business operations, advanced analytics, and metrics and reporting
• Support Data & Analytics by identifying data required to be integrated into analytics platforms to support product specific analytic projects
• Execute data requirements, epics and stories, understand process flows, mapping documents, and implementation plans
• Work with the data and analytics lead to develop processes and procedures to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks for product data, including risks related to data protection, data retention and destruction, data storage, data use, and data quality
• Develop relationships with data and analytics delivery partners and data consumers, including leaders in the Business, Analytics, Operations, Risk and Control functions

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

• 12 years of industry experience in a data-related field
• Technical knowledge of data management and governance, big data platforms, and data architecture 
• Structured thinker with good business acumen
• Experience with documentation and structuring information in tools like Confluence and Jira
• Ability to understand articulate complex technical concepts to senior audiences
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Knowledge of Snowflake and other analytic platforms
• Understanding of Agile technological development methodology
• MS Degree
