Position Description:Ryerson has an opportunity for a Sales Operations Specialist. As a Sales Operations Specialist you are responsible creating, modifying and managing SAP orders.

Roles and Responsibilities:
*Quickly building strong relationships with internal Ryerson employees and external vendors
*Follow-up on warm leads in a timely manner, providing a quotes and resolutions
*Creating and modifying orders within SAP
*Keeps internal employees informed about order tracking and lead times throughout the entire sales process
*Uses critical thinking to solve problems to efficiently provide a delivered product to the customer within an allotted amount of time
*Keeps detailed records of tracking of material
*Utilize all software platforms quickly, accurately and effectively
*All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice
Position Requirements:* Bachelor's degree preferred
* Prior sales or industry experience is preferred.
* Prior mix of administration, purchasing, or logistics experience within the industry
* Customer-centric mentality
* Excellent professional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills required
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment
* Positive attitude, goal-oriented, and driven by excellent customer experiences.
* Flexible and solutions-oriented
* High degree of business ethics
Salary: $55,000-$60,000 annually starting salary higher than $55,000 is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale
