Position Description:Ryerson has an opportunity for a Sales Operations Manager position. As a Sales Operations Manager you are responsible for delivering excellent internal and external customer experiences at Ryerson. The Sales Operations Manager role is critical for our speed-to-quote, technology, and transactional growth initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities:
* Leadership and development of the sales operations team
* Goal setting, Key Performance Indicators, and regular performance reviews for the team
* Communication and partnership with Customer Experience Manager and Customer
Experience Representatives
* Quickly building strong relationships with internal Ryerson employees and external vendors throughout the US
* Developing and implementing industry leading internal and external supply chains
* Possess the skillset to wear many hats and pay great attention to detail
* Uses critical thinking to solve problems to efficiently provide a delivered product to the customer within an allotted amount of time
* All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice
Position Requirements:* Bachelor's degree preferred
* 5 years in the metals industry experience and sales preferred
* Excellent professional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills required
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment
* Positive attitude, goal-oriented, and driven by excellent customer experiences
* Flexible and solutions-oriented
* High degree of business ethics
