Position Description:Excelsior Inc. part of the Ryerson Family of Companies has an opportunity for a(n) Sales Representative. As a Sales Representative you are responsible for growing business with established accounts, securing and growing business with new customers, controlling business margins, customer inventory and service levels, and acts as a liaison between Procurement, Inside Sales, and Operations on behalf of the customer. This position involves a high volume of face-to-face customer contact and reports to the General Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities:
*Daily interaction with customer base on contractual and transactional business
*Respond to customer's quotations, needs, inquiries, and service requests
*Close and follow up on business opportunities
*Keep customers informed on RFQs, orders, A/R, and industry/economic trends
*Sourcing support of non-stocked items and service levels (outside processing)
*Logging sales-related activities on the company ERP system
*Incorporating the sales and profitability goals and concepts of our business into day-to-day activity
*Work closely with other company departments to deliver excellent customer service and communication
*All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice
Position Requirements:*Bachelor's degree
*Minimum 2 years of previous experience with field sales and customer management.
*Previous experience with metals, manufacturing, or fabrication required.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
*Competitive, detail-oriented, and self-motivated business approach.
*Strong negotiation, problem solving, conflict resolution, and time management skills.
*Ability to work well in both team and individual scenarios.
*Microsoft Office and general computer skills are a must.
*Flexible and solutions oriented.
*Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment.
Salary: $84,847.04-$106,058.80 hourly, starting salary higher than $84,847.04 is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale
