The Accounting Services Director is an accounting professional with experience and a passion for business development. They will lead the implementation and expansion of our accounting services offering. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices, along with hands-on experience in navigating United States and/or Canada tax regulations. Additionally, they should have a track record of driving business growth through strategic partnerships and customer relationships

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Services Design

• Set up the Accounting Services product offering and processes
• Define the features and benefits of the Accounting Services product to effectively communicate its value proposition, especially in the context of tax regulations.
• Establish product services based on United States and/or Canada tax regulations to ensure the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of the Accounting Services product.
• Collaborate closely with product development, marketing, customer support, and other teams to ensure successful product launch and ongoing support.
• Work closely with compliance, legal, and tax experts to ensure the product meets industry standards, regulatory requirements, and tax compliance guidelines.
• Provide training and support to internal teams and clients, ensuring they are well-equipped to use and promote the account services product within the framework of tax regulations.

Business Development

• Conduct market research to identify potential market segments, customer needs, and opportunities for growth
•  Identify and establish strategic partnerships with potential clients, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to drive adoption and expansion of the account services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their requirements and tailoring solutions to meet their financial and tax-related needs.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize the product's market penetration.
• Monitor key business performance indicators, analyze market trends, and gather feedback to recommend enhancements and improvements to the product.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Experience in a leadership position as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• In-depth knowledge of United States and/or Canada tax regulations, financial processes and compliance requirements
• Experience managing an Accounting Services firm as a business manager or owner. 
• Proven track record of business development, sales, and relationship management in the financial sector.
• Demonstrated experience working with international clients setting up business in the US and/or Canada
• Strong team and operations management skills 
• Multilingual professional with business English proficiency
• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
