Jones, Skelton & Hochuli (JSH) is the fourth largest law firm in Arizona. JSH is seeking an associate with 2 plus years’ experience in civil litigation (healthcare law and insurance defense preferred) to join our Phoenix office. The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of civil litigation and a desire to provide exceptional client service. Candidates must be highly motivated and have excellent academic credentials. Our firm offers a collaborative and supportive environment, complete with professional development programs, including in-house CLE and Trial College, and the opportunity to take depositions, argue motions to the court, and try cases to a jury.

Qualifications:

· Excellent academic credentials

· Active member in good standing with the Arizona State Bar

· 2 plus years’ experience in civil litigation

· Experience with discovery, disclosures, taking and defending depositions, drafting motions, and court appearances

· Excellent interpersonal, writing and oral advocacy skills
