Job Overview:
Jones Road Tree Service is currently seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our
team. This position involves operating specialized tree service equipment to assist in
tree maintenance and removal services. The ideal candidate should have experience
with heavy machinery and a commitment to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
● Operate various tree service equipment including a Vermeer Mini Skid 925 with a
rotating grapple, Bandit hydraulic stump grinder, and equipment for deep root
fertilization.
● Perform daily maintenance checks and basic repairs on equipment to ensure
operational safety and efficiency.
● Work closely with other team members to complete projects efficiently and
effectively.
● Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines and procedures.
● Communicate any equipment issues or safety concerns to management
promptly.
Qualifications:
● Proven experience as an equipment operator in the tree service industry or a
similar field.
● Familiarity with the specific equipment listed (Vermeer Mini Skid 925, Bandit
hydraulic stump grinder, and deep root fertilization machinery).
● Strong understanding of safety practices related to heavy equipment operation.
● Ability to perform minor maintenance and repairs on equipment.
● Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
● Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
● Valid Driver’s License
