Overview:
We are looking for a fun and friendly personality that doesn’t mind working hard and wearing many hats in our practice. The right candidate will have to be a rock star on the phone, a dynamite sales person, and a go-getter with financials and insurance billing. Must be highly organized, enthusiastic and detail-oriented. The primary responsibility of this person is taking care of people, informing patients on doctor recommended treatment, present payment options, and convert the new patient into starting active treatment in braces or aligners .

Duties:
- Coordinate treatment plans for patients, including scheduling appointments and follow-ups
- Assist patients with insurance verification and claims processing
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using dental software systems (WaveOrtho)
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
- Manage the front desk area, including greeting patients, answering phone calls, and scheduling appointments
- Assist with billing and financial arrangements for patients
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dental office or medical administrative support role is preferred
- Proficiency in dental software systems
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry, filing, and record keeping
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
