Johnstown Middle School is seeking a Library Aide for the 2024-2025 school year with current Ohio licensure. The candidate must:

• Meet a passing score on ParaPro examination or have an associate's degree or higher from an accredited instution of higher education, or at least two years of college study at an accredited institution of higher education;
• Have ESA Qualification - see ODE appplication for details;
• Have a favorable background check (FBI & BCI);
• Display independence in completing responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Job duties:

• Provide supervision to students in the library;
• Maintain the library inventory, catalog books, order supplies and materials for the library as well as check out books and audiovisual materials to staff and students;
• Check materials in, re-shelve items, maintain a record of overdue materials and send notices;
• Repair and maintain books;
• Schedule and host Book Fairs, make daily deposits for book fees and fundraising events when necessary;
• Supervise students during assigned duties and/or other times as needed;
• Online tutoring duties as assigned.
