Johnstown Monroe Local Schools is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time High School Math Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.

Minimum Qualifications:

Current Ohio Adolescent/Young Adult (grades 7-12) Math Teaching License 

  • Experience in meeting the needs of students of all abilities
  • Positive experience collaborating with building principals, instructional staff, district administrators and public
  • Knowledgeable in Social Emotional Learning/Mental Health Supports for students
  • Knowledgeable in Ohio’s Learning Standards for Mathematics 
  • Knowledgeable in progress monitoring tools
  • Experience in data collection
  • Skilled in the use of computer technology
  • Ability to maintain effective professional relationships with students, staff and parents
  • Possess effective classroom management skills
  • Self-Motivated
  • Organized
