Position performs a variety of duties including collecting payments for utility accounts, establishing new customer accounts, preparing work orders, greeting and directing customers to appropriate personnel, handling incoming phone calls, providing information about departmental policies and functions, receiving and documenting customer inquiries, problems and/or complaints and communicating to the proper respondent. Multi-task, possess effective written and oral skills, tact, courtesy and firmness as well as organization and detail oriented skills. Conflict resolution skills a must. Excellent mathematical and computer skills, cash handling experience, and strong public contact experience required. Ability to speak Spanish is beneficial. High School graduate with advance course work in Business Administration, Office Technology or equivalent education/experience.Full Time
