In this role, you’ll be a key player in processing payroll for the team. Some of your regular tasks include the following:
Preparation of the bi-weekly computerized payroll
Auditing and paying all employee travel vouchers monthly
Updating and monitoring database for calculating 403(b) contributions for all current employees, preparing bi-weekly 403(b) transmission, and submitting files to carrier
Auditing year-end W-2 tax forms and year-end reports and working with ADP for any revisions
Maintenance of several key Excel files for tracking sick time, PTO, benefits, etc.
Payroll Specialist Requirements
Associate degree in related field
At least 3 years of payroll/accounting experience
Proficiency in Excel
Experience with ADP Workforce now preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
