Johnson County Mental Health is looking for qualified applicants to fill the position of Nursing Manager. This position will provide administrative and clinical supervision to a medical team that provides a range of services to adults in a medical setting that have a mental health need. The schedule will start as Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm, but may change to meet the needs of our clinics and clients. First review of applications will be May 23.
Job duties includes:
Associates degree in nursing or relevant field, licensed as a Registered Nurse in Kansas; five (5) years of direct nursing experience; and valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or relevant field; two (2) years of mental health nursing experience; and five (5) years of clinical supervision of a major clinical program ( 25 employees or more); and one year leading, directing, supervising, or coordinating the work of others preferred.
Johnson County Government requires reference/background screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department/Agency.
Physical, Environmental, and Special Working Conditions:All County employees may be called upon to assist other departments/agencies in a declared emergency situation.
