Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to join our team at our busy marina. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our service department and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of technicians and support staff
- Provide guidance and to service department employees
- Schedule and assign work to technicians, ensuring efficient workflow
- Monitor service operations to ensure quality standards are met
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner
- Develop and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Service Manager or similar role in a marine repair dealership setting
- Strong knowledge of marine diagnostics, boat maintenance, and vessel repair processes
- Proven ability to effectively manage a team and drive performance
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in using computer software for service writing, estimating, and reporting purposes
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
