Summary:
Johns Hopkins Medicine’s Internet Strategy and Digital Content Marketing team serve as a central strategic leader in the exploration, development, execution, and analysis of a digital strategy that connects the people of the world to the people of Johns Hopkins Medicine. Serving all aspects of the three-part mission of research, education and patient care, the team leads the creation and execution of a comprehensive digital strategy that spans across marketing technologies, content creation and distribution, user-centered design and development, digital marketing and social engagement, and data-driven performance analysis, that through precision marketing transforms the way we connect with our customers (physicians, patients and students) to meet engagement, acquisition and retention goals.
The Systems Administrator – Marketing handles all administrative functions inclusive of implementation, optimization and maintenance of the Marketing technology systems. This role is responsible for the knowledge-base, systems and process that will enable a comprehensive view into Marketing & Communications initiatives, resource investments and expected outcomes supported by the system, and will participate in the strategic design and maintenance of systems, inclusive of complementary applications and integrations. This position will gather, translate and analyze requirements, and will complete business process development, document the functionality and the resulting development, testing and validation in the system. This role works under the supervision of a functional leader that is appropriate for the scope of work and respective technology system. This supervision may be through a matrixed or direct reporting structure.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing, Digital Marketing Technology or related field. Experience in the Marketing & Communications field, beyond the required work experience, may be substituted for the degree on a 2 to 1 basis.
Work Experience:
Two years of related professional experience in systems administration, digital marketing or within a marketing technology environment, including experience gathering and translating requirements.
