CT Technologist operates all CT Scanners located in the Imaging department for the purpose of performing diagnostic exams according to physician orders. Insures the efficient flow of patients to maximize throughput. Ensures complete and accurate data entry in EPIC and PACS.
Schedule: Monday-Friday - 11:30A.M -8:00P.M.
II. Additional Duties and Responsibilities
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
Ability to use department telephone
Requires good reasoning ability to accomplish problem solutions.
Handles multiple situations and the stress associated with frequent interruptions of the work-flow.
Knowledge of the needs of patients according to their age group and the ability to modify care according to patient’s age. Technologist will most frequently care for adults and geriatrics.
Able to assist in lifting and carrying supplies (approximately 50 lbs.)
Registration with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists.
Two years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist.
Current CPR certification required.
CT certification.
