JHFCU is currently seeking a full time TELLER for our branch located on the campus of Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Campus. Our Tellers excel at building strong relationships with our members by guiding them toward solutions that meet their unique financial needs. JHFCU financial professionals are not only responsible for performing cash handling transactions fluently and with outstanding accuracy, but they also educate our members about JHFCU products and services that meet their every financial need.

Essential Duties Include:

  • Uphold Credit Union's SERVICE culture: Support, Educate, Respect, Value, Innovate, Communicate, Empower.
  • Demonstrate commitment to equity and inclusion within the workforce and membership.
  • Handle member transactions and inquiries promptly and efficiently.
  • Utilize product knowledge to cross-sell and resolve issues, ensuring member satisfaction.
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with colleagues and management.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and accurate document processing, keeping supervisors informed.
  • Maintain availability for calls and assist other departments as needed.
  • Uphold workspace standards for cleanliness and security.

Qualifications


Education/certification and experience:

Possessing a "can-do" attitude, along with excellent verbal communication skills, and the ability to perform multiple tasks with professionalism and tact are qualities that translate to success. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum six (6) months teller or one (1) year cash handling experience is required and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Being Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.

Compensation: $16 per hour

****Candidates must be able to meet JHFCU's credit guidelines successfully.****
