Bartender
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of bar supplies
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of retail math for cash handling and transactions
- Familiarity with brewing techniques and different types of alcoholic beverages
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating bills
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other staff members
- Knowledge of food service regulations and health codes
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
