As a welding technician your impact is two-fold:
- For the customer, your goal is to execute work orders as scheduled, providing quality products on time and to our customer’s specifications.
- For the team, your goal is to maintain an organized, efficient, and quality centric work area. You’ll be responsible for fabricating and welding various components to support the production of hydraulic power units using Mig, Tig, and Stick welding methods.

This is a long-term, career-growth oriented position, and as such, the compensation package we’re offering is competitive: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on 2 – 3 years’ experience) to start and includes opportunities for you to quickly maximize your earning potential through training, experience, our ESOP, bonuses, and professional development programs.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Execute work orders as scheduled, creating quality product on time.
- Read/interpret drawings and engineering designs for fabrication.
- Interpret welding requirements and troubleshoot welding problems.
- Perform welds in all welding positions.
- Set up/operate welding and joining processes.
- Document quality tests, inspections, and results.
- Ensure that paperwork is highly organized and that all products are appropriately labeled.
- Work in cross-functional teams to communicate and work though any production issues as needed.
- Maintain clean work areas in an organized and orderly manner to maintain maximum working productivity.
- Other ad hoc duties as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Certificate, associate degree, or equivalent experience in welding, metals fabrication, or engineering technology.
- Ability to interpret instructions (written/verbal), work orders, and blueprints with a strong attention to detail.
- Welding metal fabrication and Oxy fuel/plasma cutting experience.
- Ability to operate overhead cranes (training provided).
- Motivated and self-directed with the ability to work independently.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication (written/verbal) skills.
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in work while meeting productivity standards.
- Ability to build and maintain great working relationships with other team members.
- Have and maintain a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record, as well as ability to operate forklift trucks.
