Joerns Healthcare is Hiring a Director of Treasury and Risk Near Charlotte, NC

Position Summary

The Director of Treasury and Risk will develop and manage treasury activities to meet the company’s financial obligations and strategies, including management of overall finances, cash flow, working capital, financial risks, covenants, and debt. This role will manage banking relationships, payment and collection processes, and the preparation of key treasury analyses, forecasts, and recommendations for senior management. This role works closely with Finance, Accounting, Legal and Operations to ensure goals are met, risks are mitigated,compliance is maintained, and cash flow is optimized. The Director of Treasury and Risk reports directly to the CFO and will play a pivotal role assisting in scaling the business.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Oversees all cash functions, including cash positioning, reporting and forecasting, investing and borrowing, wire payments, fraud prevention, account maintenance, and bank relationship management Ensure adequate liquidity for working capital requirements Collaborate with Corporate Accounting and FP&A to determine cash needs Analyzes, interprets, and communicates the company’s liquidity position to management and the BOD Manage long-term strategic treasury goals and implement best practices Develop strategies to maximize efficiencies, safeguard assets and minimize costs Ensure treasury activities follow governance policies, accounting guidelines, and internal controls Monitors compliance with credit agreements requirements including covenants and lenders reports Assists in preparing annual budgets and quarterly reforecasting Oversees issuance of letters of credit and manages performance bonds and guarantees Identify and implement supply chain financing options to improve cash flow and reduce carrying costs Develop and execute foreign exchange risk management strategies, controls, and reporting Manage intercompany cash, including intercompany lending, dividends, and capital injections Partner with the Tax and Accounting teams to execute intercompany cash efficiency opportunities Lead annual Insurance renewal process - general, worker’s comp, D&O, etc.; make recommendations balancing risk and costs Liaison between operations and insurance broker to verify existing coverage, make recommendations to modify contract proposal language or obtain additional coverage if deemed necessary Prepare presentations for rating agencies, banks, executive leadership, and the Board/Audit Committee

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This role will supervise 1-2 employees and provide treasury and risk management oversight to three international controllers.

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field

Required Skills & Experience

10 years broad Finance experience with minimum of 7 years of Treasury experience and at least 5 years in a Treasury leadership role Minimum of 5 years' supervisory experience Treasury accounting knowledge including FX, liquidity, cashflow and various financial instruments Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build key stakeholder relationships Professional and positive attitude required

Preferred Skills, Experience & Education

MBA CPA license Private Equity experience Strong knowledge of cash management, financial analysis, and risk management

Knowledge of financial software packages including SAP, OneStream Requires a team player in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook) Understands basic accounting principles Extensive experience preparing cash forecasts, cash flow analyses, and variance reporting Applies vision to problem solving and ensures that business goals are met by adjusting the action plan
