REGIONAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE
LOCATION: COLORADO, US (Western Colorado)
TYPE: FULL-TIME
SUMMARY:
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for the sale of various types of best-in-class heavy equipment throughout their territory. The Regional Sales Manager will serve as an ambassador of JJE products and a solution-provider for our customers in a strong, established territory.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/ Certification:
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract and possess or have the ability to obtain a CDL licenses (Class A or B), or equivalent license in another State)
  • Possess a valid passport and/or Nexus card and have the ability to travel within North America and abroad on an occasional basis.
Experience:
  • 4 years' experience in a related Sales role
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs
  • Experience and understanding of the full sales cycle
  • Experience working with Municipalities or bid/tender processes
  • Experience using MS Office Suite, with a focus on Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Mechanical aptitude or previous exposure to a heavy equipment/heavy truck environment is an asset
Skills:
  • Mechanically inclined and must have some knowledge of heavy equipment
  • Advanced verbal and written communication, with exceptional customer service/ sales skills
  • Ability to plan and execute work independently
  • Ability to use discretion while working, including maintaining confidentiality and respecting privacy
  • Ability to travel and work within a flexible schedule
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for all sales activities within assigned territory, with a focus on increasing sales year over year in alignment with established targets
  • Collaborate and work effectively with Industrial team and customer support
  • Manage current accounts
  • Prospect, build and maintain new customer relationships
  • Provide demonstrations and training as required to effectively represent the industrial product lines represented within the territory
  • Attend industry events, training or tradeshows to ensure up-to-date knowledge on JJE products and to represent JJE in the industry
  • Prepare forecasts and reports related to assigned territory
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure optimal customer satisfaction
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned
