Job Title : Inside Sales Representative - Aggregate-Mining-Cement Industry

Overview :

We are seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our team at a distributor specializing in equipment for the aggregate, mining, and cement industries.

Based in Mission, TX, this role will focus on supporting our outside sales teams by providing exceptional customer service, generating leads, and managing sales inquiries.

The ideal candidate will have experience in inside sales, a strong understanding of the aggregate-mining-cement industry, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Customer Support :
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing product information, pricing, and assistance with order processing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs promptly and effectively.
  • Lead Generation :
  • Identify and qualify sales leads through research, cold calling, and networking within the aggregate-mining-cement industry.
  • Collaborate with outside sales teams to develop strategies for lead generation and customer acquisition.
  • Sales Coordination :
  • Work closely with outside sales representatives to support their efforts in selling and renting equipment used in the aggregate, mining, and cement industries.
  • Assist in preparing quotes, proposals, and presentations for customers, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Order Management :
  • Process sales orders and rental agreements accurately and efficiently, coordinating with customers, vendors, and internal departments as needed.
  • Monitor order status, resolve any issues or discrepancies, and ensure on-time delivery of products and services.
  • Market Research :
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Provide feedback to management on customer needs, market demands, and product enhancements.

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in inside sales, preferably in the aggregate-mining-cement industry or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and support outside sales teams effectively.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM software.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
