Overview :

Weare currently seeking a skilled Diesel Service Technician to joinour team at a distributor specializing in the sales and service ofnew and used equipment and accessories for the aggregate mining andcement industries.

Based in Mission TX this position offers anexciting opportunity for individuals with five (5) years ofCaterpillar Heavy Equipment Service Technician experience.

Theideal candidate will be familiar with CAT ET Diagnostic Softwarepossess strong technical skills and demonstrate a commitment toproviding exceptional service to our customers.

While servicingmining equipment experience is preferred it is not required. Thisrole includes per diem a service truck and healthbenefits.

Responsibilities :

• EquipmentService andRepair :
• Performdiagnostic tests troubleshooting repairs and preventive maintenanceon dieselpowered equipment typical to the aggregate mining andcement industries.
• Identify and resolvemechanical electrical and hydraulic issues to ensure equipmentoperates efficiently andsafely.
• CATET DiagnosticSoftware :
• UtilizeCAT ET Diagnostic Software to diagnose engine faults calibratecomponents and perform software updates asrequired.
• Maintain accurate records ofdiagnostic findings repair activities and parts used fordocumentation and billingpurposes.
• CustomerSupport :
• Providetechnical support and assistance to customers both onsite andremotely to address equipment issues and minimizedowntime.
• Communicate effectively withcustomers to explain repair procedures discuss servicerecommendations and ensure customersatisfaction.
• ServiceTruckOperations :
• Operatea service truck equipped with tools equipment and parts necessaryfor onsite repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure theservice truck is properly stocked maintained and organized tosupport efficient serviceoperations.
• Healthand SafetyCompliance :
• Adhereto all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safework environment for oneself and others.
• Followproper procedures for handling hazardous materials operatingequipment and performing service taskssafely.

Qualifications :

• Five(5) years of experience as a Caterpillar Heavy Equipment ServiceTechnician specializing in dieselpoweredequipment.
• Strong technical skills indiesel engine systems with the ability to diagnose and repairmechanical electrical and hydraulicissues.
• Previous experience servicing miningequipment is preferred but notrequired.
• Excellent communication and customerservice skills with the ability to interact professionally withcustomers and colleagues.
• Valid drivers licenseand clean driving record.
• Must live in thesurrounding Mission Texas areas.
• Ability towork independently prioritize tasks and manage timeeffectively.
