SERVICE TECHNICIAN JOB SUMMARY

The Fireplace Shop is a small company with dedicated people providing the best possible service to thousands of families who want and need a safe, warm, and comfortable heating source in their homes. The service technician assures these products function as they should safely, and that the homeowner understands and is comfortable in its uses.

The Fireplace Shop supplies a wide range of products and services implementing ‘out of the box’ thinking to provide solutions to issues that make the customer’s dreams reality. We don’t like to say no.

Therefore, the Service Techs responsibilities include but are not limited to the following;

· Personal and property safety are the first priority

· A clean driving record and a Class E license are required

· Minimum of 2 years of experience as a service technician in a related field

. Chimney Sweeping and Safety Inspections

· Managing a fluid schedule of daily multiple appointments

· Physical ability to lift 50lb

· Ability to climb ladders and scale roofs

· Basic understanding of electricity and circuits

· Troubleshooting skills

· Some mechanical and carpentry skills

· Some plumbing skills

· Pleasant phone skills

· Curiosity and patience to find the cause of any issue and resolve it

. Certification or training in fireplace repair and maintenance is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
