About the team
FIS API Engineering team is seeking an Software Engineer Senior to join amazing team working on financial technology solutions, who are passionate about transforming the way world Pay and Bank.

Demonstrate extensive knowledge of API principles and have experience in designing integrations on the webMethods platform
Demonstrate good understanding/exposure to overall API management concepts and fundamentals.
Have hands on development/architecture experience with webMethods v9.x and 10.x, Universal Messaging experience is required
Have hands on experience using JDBC and MQ adapter
Have hands on experience using Flat file and EDI
Have understanding of AWS, K8, Kibana and Splunk
Exhibit professional experience in working with geographically distributed teams, peers and clients included individual needs to be able to work independently, understanding how to prioritize and accomplish tasks across several initiatives, targeting success on all
provide oversight of web service top-down and bottom-up design methodologies.
Be accountable to management reporting status, constraints, issues; providing input to estimates and projections remain flexible in adjusting work to changing business priorities
participate in technical requirements definition and analysis efforts, providing rigorous estimates of webMethods effort based on design
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of API principles and have experience in designing integrations on the MuleSoft platform
Demonstrate good understanding/exposure to overall API management concepts and fundamentals.
Hands on experience on designing and development of use cases using Mule applications.
Hands on experience in developing mule application using Anypoint studio.
Implementation experience on API Designer, API Manager and Runtime Manager.
Demonstrate extensive experience with all aspects of large project SDLC (specifically Agile methodologies)
Participate in technical requirements definition and analysis efforts, providing rigorous estimates of MuleSoft effort based on design
What you bring: (Skills)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; OR 7 years of prior equivalent work-related experience in lieu of a degree
Experience in software development methodologies and best practices
2 years of experience in developing highly scalable and reliable web applications, including integration with internal and external systems.
Experience in working collaboratively using Agile/Scrum methodology is essential
2 years of experience with Microservices technologies
Experience in consuming and publishing web services (e.g. REST, SOAP)
Experienced with Git / Git Hub.
Fluent in complex SQL and experienced in DB2, SQL server preferred.
Exceptional technical troubleshooting skills
Strong teamwork and individual drive, highly motivated, articulate and eager to learn

The posted salary range describes the minimum to maximum range for this job description in the state of Colorado. The salary range is posted in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay For Equal Work Act. The salary range for this same position may be lower or higher in markets outside of Colorado. $ 108,170.00 - $181,720.00 USD .
