We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Traffic Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traffic engineering, with a focus on traffic signals and lighting construction, Synchro, civil engineering, environmental engineering, and Civil 3D. As a Senior Traffic Engineer, you will be expected to:
1. Design, implement, and manage traffic signal and lighting construction projects, ensuring they meet all safety standards and regulations.
2. Utilize Synchro software for traffic analysis and optimization, and provide insightful recommendations based on the results.
3. Play a vital role in the civil engineering process, from planning and design to construction and maintenance.
4. Apply your expertise in environmental engineering to ensure all projects are sustainable and have minimal environmental impact.
5. Use Civil 3D software for detailed design and drafting of civil infrastructure.
6. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget.
7. Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in traffic engineering.
Job Details
To be considered for this position, you must have:
1. A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A master's degree would be a plus.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in traffic engineering, with a focus on traffic signals and lighting construction.
3. Proficiency in using Synchro software for traffic analysis and optimization.
4. Extensive experience in civil engineering, specifically in the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of civil infrastructure.
5. A solid background in environmental engineering, with a focus on sustainable design and minimal environmental impact.
6. Proficiency in using Civil 3D software for detailed design and drafting.
7. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
8. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
9. A professional engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.
