Job Details
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Designing and developing new products and mechanisms to meet the needs of our customers and to improve the efficiency of our manufacturing processes.
2. Using advanced 3D modeling and CAD software to create detailed mechanical designs and technical drawings.
3. Overseeing the operation of CNC machines and ensuring that they are used effectively and safely.
4. Working closely with our manufacturing team to ensure that designs are feasible and can be manufactured efficiently.
5. Conducting in-depth analysis of mechanical systems, sub-systems, and components using design for manufacturing principles.
6. Participating in design reviews to ensure the quality and integrity of our products.
7. Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other members of our team.
8. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of design concepts into manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer position, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
3. Proficiency in 3D modeling, CAD software, and technical drawing.
4. Experience with CNC machine operation and knowledge of various manufacturing processes.
5. Strong knowledge of engineering design principles and mechanical systems.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
7. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from various disciplines.
8. An innovative mindset, with the ability to think creatively and develop new design concepts.
9. A strong commitment to quality and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
