We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN to join our PACU team! As a PACU RN with us, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and comfort of patients after they undergo surgery. You will be responsible for providing care to patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) and will work closely with the surgical team to ensure that patients are recovering well from their procedures. You must have at least one year experience in PACU or pre-op.
Responsibilities:

• Assessing patients' condition and monitoring vital signs
• Administering medications and managing pain
• Monitoring patients' response to anesthesia and surgery
• Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families
• Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care
• Preparing patients for discharge and providing follow-up care instructions
• Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education programs

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum of1 year of experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
