Job Details

Responsibilities :

• Represent clients in court or before government agencies on matters related to labor and employment.
• Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal opinions.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on various labor and employment issues such as wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, wage and hour violations, and other employment-related matters.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on labor and employment law matters.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Manage and oversee paralegals and other support staff.
• Stay updated on the latest changes in labor and employment law and participate in continuous legal education programs.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Collaborate with other attorneys in the firm on complex legal matters.

Qualifications :

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Nebraska
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in labor and employment litigation.
• Strong litigation skills with experience in state and federal courts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
