We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting IT Project Manager to join our team on a contract basis. This role is a critical part of our organization, focusing on overseeing a portfolio of IT projects within the Medical industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT Project Management, specifically in the Healthcare and Life Sciences sectors. They will be responsible for leading a team of project managers, developing and implementing Project Management Office (PMO) strategies, and managing multiple project budgets that exceed $1 million.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead a portfolio of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
2. Develop and implement PMO strategies to ensure project success and alignment with organizational goals.
3. Mentor and develop a team of project managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
4. Manage multiple project budgets exceeding $1 million, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effectiveness.
5. Use tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Monday.com, Microsoft Project, and Smartsheets to manage projects and facilitate effective team collaboration.
6. Conduct A/B testing to optimize project outcomes and improve project performance.
7. Implement quantitative risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
8. Oversee 10 projects simultaneously, ensuring effective coordination and communication among team members and stakeholders.
9. Liaise with stakeholders in the Healthcare and Life Sciences sectors to understand their needs and ensure project deliverables meet their expectations.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Project Management.
2. Proven experience leading a portfolio of projects in the Medical industry.
3. Experience developing and implementing PMO strategies.
4. Proven track record of mentoring and developing a team of project managers.
5. Experience managing project budgets exceeding $1 million.
6. Strong experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Monday.com, Microsoft Project, and Smartsheets.
7. Experience conducting A/B testing and implementing quantitative risk management strategies.
8. Experience overseeing 10 projects simultaneously.
9. Strong knowledge of the Healthcare and Life Sciences sectors.
10. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
11. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
