We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting IT Business Analyst, who can leverage their knowledge of business processes, system functionality, industry standards, and business analysis expertise to provide innovative solutions. This role will focus on the design, implementation, and support of IT systems that meet the needs of our medical clients. The candidate will be responsible for gathering and defining business requirements, developing detailed functional designs, coordinating with other team members, and ensuring the successful completion of IT projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to build relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Responsibilities:
1. Act as a liaison between the IT development group and business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems.
2. Evaluate new IT developments and evolving business requirements, and recommend appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems.
3. Prepare communications and make presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives.
4. Support multiple complex projects by providing strategic analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
5. Utilize SDLC and Waterfall methodologies to manage project deliverables.
6. Develop and execute SQL queries for data analysis and validation.
7. Prepare high-quality documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, system design documents, and operational manuals.
8. Ensure the successful implementation of IT projects by coordinating and monitoring project activities.
9. Build strong, positive relationships with clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating and managing expectations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
2. 3 years of experience in a Business Analyst role in the IT sector.
3. Strong understanding of SDLC and Waterfall methodologies.
4. Proficient in UAT and facilitate feedback sessions
5. Proven experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation.
6. Demonstrated ability to manage complex IT projects.
7. Exceptional analysis and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to build strong client relationships and interact effectively with stakeholders.
9. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
10. A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
