About the Position:
As a Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in our team by leveraging your expertise in statistics, machine learning, programming, and data modeling to derive valuable insights from complex and high-dimensional datasets. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive innovation through exploratory data analysis and develop prototypes that contribute to product improvement and business growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Advanced Analysis: Apply statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and advanced mathematics to identify patterns, opportunities, and business questions from diverse datasets.
- Model Development: Design, develop, and evaluate predictive models and algorithms to extract optimal value from data, contributing to prototype development and product enhancement.
- Hypothesis Testing: Generate and test hypotheses, analyze experiment results, and interpret findings to inform product decisions and improvements.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with product engineers to translate prototypes into new products, services, and features, providing guidance for large-scale implementation.
- Business Intelligence Support: Provide support for Business Intelligence (BI) and data visualization, including online customer service dashboards and ad-hoc requests requiring data analysis and visual representation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or R, big data tools like Hadoop, or data visualization tools such as Tableau.
- Excellent written communication skills to convey complex information effectively and engage stakeholders in meaningful discussions.
- Experience working with large datasets and applying analytical techniques to derive actionable insights.
$50-60/hr
