The Opportunity

Our Enterprise Applications team is looking for a progressive Software Engineering leader with

an agile mindset to drive the technical development and delivery of our business applications.

In this role you will have ownership of technology platforms that support the

Commercialization process, from Market to Order to Quote to Cash. Reporting to the VP,

Enterprise Applications, this person will build and mature a core team to deliver IT solutions to

scale the business with rapid implementations. The Director of Software Engineering will be a

thought leader who fosters engineering excellence and innovation to deliver information to

customers and employees when they want it, how they want it and in a way that brings them

joy. This is a pivotal role for a technical and business leader who wants the opportunity to

participate in journey to a $1b company.

The role

● Develop and implement the long-term strategy and vision for scaling business

applications to support the business growth and vision

● Simplify current processes and methodologies, accelerating time to market

● Provide inspirational leadership, explain the why, and motivate the team

● Raise the bar on Service Levels, Customer experience and Vendor Management

● Establish collaborative relationships with Business leaders of the SG&A functions

(Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Customer Support) and co-create their digital

roadmaps alongside our IT Product Management team

● Communicate strategy and status to senior executives and partners/stakeholders in

order to influence & gain alignment

● Bring industry leading insights to inform the future roadmap of Business

● Define, Monitor and Measure IT Operating metrics on Delivery, Software Quality

Assurance, Support

Qualifications and Traits

● A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

● Superior communication, collaboration and diplomacy skills

● Proven experience in building and developing high performing teams

● 10 years Information Technology or Engineering experience designing and

implementing enterprise level applications

● 5 years of experience managing Engineering teams at scale

● Experience in integration with vendor hosted SaaS solutions; hands on experience

working with Salesforce CRM, CPQ, Service Cloud

● Working knowledge of ERP platforms, preferably NetSuite

● Experience with IaaS platforms and other cloud models

● Agile experience and the ability to bring an Agile mindset to teams

● Expert level understanding of software system design, data systems, microservices

architecture, and data analytics

● Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, manage, and prioritize multiple projects
