JMI Insurance is Hiring an Office Receptionist Near McMinnville, OR

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a friendly and professional individual to join our team as a Receptionist. The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office.

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and welcoming visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Answering and directing phone calls to the appropriate person or department.
  • Responding to inquiries and providing information to callers or visitors.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and email.
  • Scheduling appointments and meetings, and maintaining calendars for staff.
  • Assisting with the preparation of documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the reception area and conference rooms.
  • Managing office supplies and placing orders as needed.
  • Assisting with basic administrative tasks, such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
  • Providing general administrative support to staff as required.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with office equipment, such as printers, copiers, and fax machines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
