Job Description:

JMA Resources, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and self-directed Jr. Project Manager to join our team. This person will assist the project manager in managing one very large scaled project currently underway with JMA's Federal Client. The projects support various Information Technology Development and implementation efforts, to include data management, business intelligence, web development and ERP solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, task lists, sprint plans in accordance with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), DevOps and Agile methodologies
• Organizing team activities to include planning and assigning tasks, establishing dues dates, tracking status and evaluating work products prior to client delivery
• Ensuring contractual deliverables are met early or on time and below or on budget
• Support Project Manager with seamless project integration amongst related workstreams where appropriate
• Communicating project status with government clients, implementation teams and corporate managers
• Taking initiative in an environment involving diverse sets of people, data, documents and materiel
• Working closely with Project Manager to translate user requirements into a system requirement specification by learning and understanding their business processes, business requirements, interpreting requirements and assisting in the solution design

Skills and Qualifications:

• A person in this position must be able to demonstrate excellent technical skills, organizational and planning skills, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, problem analysis, attention to detail and accuracy, solid judgment and decision-making ability, initiative
• Apply soft skills in leading team members to find creative solutions to solving tough work stoppage issues, personnel conflicts and overcoming timeline slippage
• Proven experience assisting with managing IT projects using industry standard tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet)

Travel:

• Occasional travel

Military Installation Access:

• Must be able to qualify for and obtain a base access pass in a timely manner.
• Must be able to obtain a favorable National Security Agency Check (NACI) including an FBI fingerprint check.
• S. Citizenship required
• Existing Secret Security Clearance with SSBBI checks highly desired
