JLL is Hiring a Senior Project Manager, FF&E Near Washington, DC
Responsibilities:
Manage projects and key initiatives through full life cycle from very preliminary planning phases to complete implementation.
Develop and maintain relationships with client team, manage project initiation through to closing including gathering scope, definition and requirements, planning, managing resources, identifying and mitigating risks, within timeframes, budget and to requirements.
Apply advanced understanding of project management, quality assurance, and requirements gathering to utilize strong technical and analytical skills, and a solid business perspective to deliver value to clients.
Negotiate, network, expedite issues/problems, and develop timely solutions.
Develop furniture product solutions that meet mission, IT, security, multimedia, and space requirements.
Plan and coordinate with both the client and vendor design teams and provide technical design solutions when issues arise.
Ensure furniture product meets specifications and all deliverables are provided in accordance with agreed upon budgets and schedules.
Lead/participate in various project team meetings; support on/offsite training on products to client personnel; plan and coordinate client visits to manufacturers/dealers' showrooms and factory locations as required.
Develop and maintain a client site product specification and design library.
Plan, develop, coordinate, and manage RFQs, cost estimates, and project schedules.
Review and audit all subcontractor and dealership quotes to ensure accurate final furniture project quotes. Assemble final JLL project quote packages for submission the client team.
Maintain all project records; track and report project/quote status and progress weekly.
Submit annual report to client of all contract furniture projects designed, purchased, and installed.
Skills/Qualifications:
Senior Project Manager must have Top Secret Clearance, pass a CI Polygraph exam, and be SCI Eligible; onsite workplace with DoD client in Washington, DC.
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum 10 years of program/project/contract management experience required.
Preferred Certifications: CAPM, PMP, NCIDQ, LEED, CFM
Current and skilled in use of AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office Suite applications and products.
Strong working knowledge of architectural drawings and furniture and space planning concepts
Previous experience effectively supervising, training mentoring, and evaluating several project managers at various levels within an organization or team.
Must possess extensive knowledge of furniture specification process and be familiar with various vendor commercial and GSA catalogs
